Connecting smallholder farmers to buyers
Although smallholder farmers produce most of the world’s food, they are marginalized on the global markets. Buyers prefer to trade with one seller rather than many individual farmers. We work to organize and connect smallholder farmers to markets, offering buyers the opportunity to buy needed qualities in good quality and through one entity.
Supporting local seed systems
We believe that farmers have the potential to produce high-value seeds. Our extension team supports farmers in producing the seeds and directing them to the market. We collaborate with farmers in selecting and improving seeds with better attributes
One stop shop for buyers
We handle contracts on behalf of our many farmers, giving buyers an opportunity to support smallholder farmers and at the same time buying from one selling point.
Farmer support
We believe that if our food systems through which our markets thrive on are to be strong and resilient, we need to support farmers throughout the growing season and help them aggregate crops for sale to large buyers. We connect farmers with the resources, partners and technical support they need to minimize costs and maximize harvests.
